止血带拾的病原菌远超出《医院消毒卫生标准》（GB15982—1995）4.2.3所规定的“接触皮肤的医疗用品细菌菌落总数应≤200cfu/g或100平方厘米：致病性微生物不得检出”要求，且检验出条件致病菌（对此国内大量文献有报道）。

3、有研究表明，扁形止血带比圆型止血带能更好的减轻患者疼痛，提高穿刺成功率。受国际化影响，国内一次性止血带的应用范围也将逐渐从以往军用或野外“应急”止血使用向“常规”治疗输液、抽血，止血时使用过渡。
